The earlier the better. The first booked event in an evening sets the schedule for the times of subsequently events. Remember your package price includes prep and travel time, 20 minute grace period (45 min for weddings), the performance, and photo ops afterwards. Depending on the nature of your event, Angel will be at your event for about an hour (arrival to departure).

A belly dance show is usually between 20-25 minutes. The package price minimum includes any performance up to 25 minutes.
Your rate includes more than just the performance, of course. Built into each show, minimum rate is a 20 minute grace period (45 for weddings), plus photo-op time afterwards, as so many people want photos to share and post.

Between arriving early enough to change, waiting for show time, the show, photo ops afterwards, plus changing time before leaving, Angel will likely be at your event longer than an hour already.
Most events are very happy with one typical length show of 20-25 minutes.
If you truly want an hours worth of dance entertainment, then you may purchase two shows. There will be about 20 minutes break in between in order to hydrate and change costumes for an exciting second show.

The minimum (starting rates) are $325 for a belly dance performance package. This may raise depending on location, date, time, etc.

If this is a wedding or gala event, we have options. A performance is completely appropriate:
- During meals/food srving is most popular
- During a cocktail reception
- To lead people from cocktails to the reception (if the spaces are close)
- At the beginning of the reception
- With the zeffa (wedding processional) and continuing immediately after
- After the meal
- Right before cake cutting
… you get the picture.
Angel’s time books quickly and all other events that evening will be booked around the first scheduled event. Your best chance to have the performance when you envision it is to book early.
The general guideline for house parties is to schedule the dance performance within two hours of the party start time.

Angel loves to get creative! Call or text and share your ideas.

Angel’s event bookings have 20 min grace time padded in (45 min for weddings or extra large events), but not more than that. She often books two or three events in an evening, and has a schedule to keep. You are paying for a performance within a time slot.
If you feel you may need extra time, ask about “wait time fees,” as she is happy to accommodate your needs.

Angel is happy to coordinate. She knows wonderful professionals who have the same rates that she does and she can make all the arrangements.

Angel is available for destination weddings.
You pay for flights, land transportation, and accommodations while at the destination.
Angel will research flights and times and make her own travel booking, and book the room in her own name. She will invoice you for that and make the reservations after you make that payment. Those expenses are your deposit for the destination wedding belly dance performance.
Destination events require a contract.

Tipping is both appreciated and culturally appropriate. Tipping during the show is always family friendly. It’s common to also tip afterwards, or with payment.

If you prefer a full contract, Angel can prepare one. Some events require a contract.
If you preper to keep it quick and simple, Angel can provide a confirmation email (rather than a contract). Angel takes notes during a phone call and afterwards sends you a detailed confrimation email with a summary of all the same details that would normally go in the contract. During the phone call, you’ll provide any details she asks for and at that time, Angel’s will answer all your questions. After the phone call (or after you’ve reviewed the confirmation email), you’ll send Angel the booking deposit. Once the deposit is recieved, then you will officially booked on Angel’s calendar. It’s an easy process that doesn’t take much time, and assures that all parties are on the same page.
If you prefer a full contract, Angel will also have a phone call with you to collect all the details. After the call, Angel will prepare the contract for you. After the phone call (or after you’ve signed the contract), you’ll send Angel the booking deposit. Once the deposit is recieved, then you will officially booked on Angel’s calendar.

Angel requires a deposit for all events. Although deposits are non-refundable, they ARE transferable (if Angel is available) for another date should your event be postponed due to Covid, illness or any other emergencies. Once the depsit is received, you will officially be booked on Angel’s calendar.

Payment balance is due directly after her show.
For weddings, this is often done by a relative, loved one or event coordinator so the bride and groom can simply enjoy time with their guests.

DJ name and contact or sound equipment information, if there is no DJ
Dance performance environment. Is it a ballroom, outdoors, is there a dance floor, etc.
She sometimes needs:
Guest of honor(s) name(s)
Photo/video name and contact
Event planner name and contact
Parking details

Angel will need a safe space to finish changing and to leave her things while performing.
Please provide a good size performace space clear of furniture, people, cables, spills, etc.
If you don’t have a DJ or your own speakers, let Angel know at the time of booking.

About 1/2 of Angel’s performances are surprises. What Angel will do is text you and your additonal contact person from outside of your event when she arrives. At that time you can have someone come out and escort/sneak Angel into the private designated area. Once Angel is inside, she will need just a few short minutes to change into costume and prep music. Then she will submit her ipod and props for the performance.

Angel accepts payments by cash, PayPal or Zelle, or she can provide an invoice for you to pay via credit card. No checks are accepted.
